Marching Patrol and The Springer
Connection present the 4th
Annual Blast
from the Past.
Saturday, August
20th Springer
classes from the 60's and 70's will
gather to party and dance starring SHORT
CROSS and
featuring LOOSE
GRAVEL along
with special appearances by THE
BARRACUDAS and
other ole
Springer musicians.
A SPECIAL
JAM SESSION will happen at the end
with
Springer
musicans of all sorts up on the
stage. You won't believe some of
the musical combinations you will
see!
SHORT CROSS,
fresh from their reunion at last year's
Blast, will perform classic dance rock
and R&B by Booker T and the MGs,
Otis Redding, The Monkees, The Stones,
Steppenwolf, The Doors, Steve Miller,
Creedence
Clearwater Revival and lots more. If
you are good, they might even play
one from their 1972 album "Arising".

A Special Guest
Appearance by The BARRACUDAS,
including Mike Parker, Sam Shaw, Donnie
Thurston and Jeff Warburton, will make
it seem like Teen Night at the Sandston
Pool. Bring your water wings and flip

- otherwise the Shriners will have

$20 per person
in advance, only
500 total tickets will be sold, a
SELLOUT is expected. $25 per
person at the door,
if any are
available.
