MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED BY

The ENGLISH CHANNEL, featuring Springer musician Buzzy Lawler, HSHS Class of '69.

Formed in 2001, The English Channel authentically recreates British rock and pop from the mid ‘60’s to the mid ‘70’s. That’s all they do, but that’s plenty. Someone had to do it...there was so much great music from that era and so many different styles to play. The members of this band have a love for this music and it shows.

They don’t wear wigs or pretend to be British or someone else they're not. But they play each song with passion and energy, “just like the record” and just like you remember it

Who they are:

Bob Quarles - Keyboards, Vocals
Julie Quarles - Vocals, Percussion
Buzzy Lawler - (HSHS Class of '69) Guitar, Vocals
Shaun Lyda - Guitar, Vocals
Johnny Hott - (HSHS Class of '76) Drums
Dan Lancaster - Bass, Vocals

----------------------------------------------------------

Cisco

Cisco features FIVE musicians from the HSHS Class of '69 and a guy from Hopewell (Ricky Hosey) that plays mean lead guitar. They play 60's and 70's Rock and Roll. Cisco

Bobby, Doug, and Ricky played together in High School (Go Springers) in the "Yarks", and the "Electric Rainfall." After High School, Bobby played in "The Cisco Band" along with Ricky Hosey on Lead Guitar, and Ricky Hitchcock handling the sound system. Later they decided they wanted to do more! Doug went back to drums, Charlie switched to Keyboards, and "Cisco" was born.

Who they are:

Bobby Gary (Cisco) - (HSHS Class of '69) Guitar, Lead Vocals
Ricky Hosey - Lead Guitar

Ricky Hitchcock- (HSHS Class of '69) Bass
Charlie Davis - (HSHS Class of '69) Keyboards
Tommy Casey - (HSHS Class of '69) Guitar, Vocals
Doug Bailey - (HSHS Class of '69) Drums, Vocals
